Packing up, or trying too anyway!

I am trying to get the cabin cleaned up, my stuff packed is actually what I have to get done. I started getting a cold before Mom left, and the weather here turned pretty nasty yesterday when I got home from Portland. Mom maded home safe and sound, tired but home. I have changed my plane ticket to go out to Oklahoma on Nov 21st, as my Grandma isn't getting any better, just weaker. I want to be there for my family, so my husband will go ahead and come out Dec 15th as planned.

I am probably going to head home from the cabin tomorrow or Thurs or maybe even Friday. It will cut things close with trying to get things ready for my trip. I am glad I have a great husband who understands that I need to be with my family when needed.

Have a good day!

What's new

Well, we stayed close to home today. There is a huge water leak under the house and my husband Gregg has to fix it before we can leave to take him to Eureka, CA to start his new job. Mom and I have to have water next week. If you look farther down, I have posted some pics, just a few. I am posting one now because it is of my grandsons that live in Eureka. They were at the pumpkin patch. They are Austin who will be 11 in Nov, Gabe who is 9 but will turn 10 in March and is bigger than his brother, and Rhys who is going to be 7 in June. They are getting so big. Gabe looks more like my side of the family and the other two boys look like their dad's side. Just wanted to share them since it is fall and they were after all in the Pumpkin Patch!

Mom's visit

We are having so much fun! We have gone shopping alot for our secret buddies for the SCS Christmas exchange. We have also done alot of sightseeing. The weather has been pretty yucky since Mom got here. It was so nice before she came. Oh well, can't have everything right. I am just glad she got to come. I am going to post pics later. We are headed to Eugene tomorrow for some some shopping, going to go to Michaels and JoAnns. We have a great store close to here, it is in Coos Bay, OR called Memories in Time, it is so AWESOME! We have already been there twice and are going to take a class on making flowers before Mom goes home. That will be fun!

Working on card kits for swaps

Sorry, no pictures yet. I have been very busy getting some of my card kits ready to go out for some cardkit swaps I am in. It has taken me awhile to get going as I have been going back and forth between towns and actually states for the past month. My husband is working on his sisters house, doing an addition for her. He is on a time table due to he starts a new job Nov. 1st. Anyway, I am in Oregon right now, so I did get alot done today. Hopefully my stuff will all go out tomorrow!

On the road

It seem like all I have been doing is driving or riding in a car. I live in Redding, CA and my husband is remodeling his sisters bathroom. I have been back and forth from Redding to Eugene, OR for about a month. We also have a place in Winchester Bay, OR right on the Oregon Coast and I have been trying to spend alot of my time there. It is about an hour and a half from Eugene. So, I am exhausted!

Now for the good news! My Mom, Linda Palmer is coming to stay with me here in Winchester Bay, OR. I can't wait for her to get here Friday, yes this Friday. I have brought alot and I mean alot of my stamping stuff up here in the trips back home and back here. So, we are going to have fun! She loves it here on the coast, it is very soothing to your soul, she needs some time for herself after what has happened with my Grandma and my Stepdad.  So, stay tuned for some new creations to be added on here, I won't forget to take pictures of my cards before I give them away or my husband gives them away.

Thanks for stopping by and come back soon for some new cards!

Busy Busy Busy!

Goodmorning everyone, no new cards to post. I do have some but are boxed up awaiting to be unpacked from my trip home to Oklahoma to visit  my Mom and other family  for 2 months.
I had a wonderful time, didn't want to come home, but did miss my best friend and husband alot. He did come out for 3 weeks so that did help.

I came home to 5 of my grandchildren visiting so I haven't gotten alot of stamping done since I got home at the end of July. I do hope to correct that soon, as both of my granddaughters love to stamp. My 3 grandsons will be going home on Aug 13th, so hoping to be able to get my craft room straightened out and going again.

As most of you know, I am new to blogging and just getting the hang of it, so please bear with me with my ups and downs.

Thanks for stoping by and have a great rest of the week!

Romantic Tilda

This is a card that I made that I did piecing with the dress. I had never done that before. It took me 3 tries before I got it the way I liked, I still thought it could be better, but with my eye and then my hands, I don't think that I could have done any better. I really love this Tilda. The DP is SCS and the CS is also SCS, I used martha steward punch for the border across the center. Put the hat on that to decorate the bottom, added the flowers to the top and there you have it!  This is going out as a birthday card. Took me quite awhile to get it done, I was busy doing some other things but finally finished it and was satisfied with the end result. The CS I used was cyrogen and it has the sparkly sheen to it. I did not spray the card with anything.
Thanks for visiting......
